Getting started
What this practice is, and whether it fits what you're looking for.
What actually happens in a nutrition consultation?
We go through your health history, your recent blood work if you have any, your routine, your food preferences and what you want to change first. You leave with a plan built around the food you already cook, and access to the practice's app where that plan lives.
How is this different from a diet chart I could download?
A downloaded chart is written for nobody in particular. Here the plan starts from your assessment — your reports, your medication, your work hours, your kitchen — and it is revised at every follow-up based on what your logs and your next set of reports actually show.
Do I need a diagnosis to book?
No. Plenty of clients come with no diagnosis and a general goal — eating better, more energy, a weight they are comfortable at. Programmes for specific conditions exist because those clients need planning around their reports and prescriptions, not because a diagnosis is required.
Will this replace my doctor's treatment?
No, and it is not intended to. Nutrition support works alongside your medical treatment. We plan around your prescriptions and reports, and we will never ask you to stop, reduce or change medication — that is your doctor's decision.
Do I have to change what my family eats?
No. Plans are built around the food you already cook, in the portions and household measures you already use. The aim is a plan you can keep for years, not one that needs a separate kitchen.
Do you plan for vegetarian, vegan or Jain diets?
Yes. Plans are built to your diet type — vegetarian, non-vegetarian, vegan, eggetarian or Jain — and the recipe library is tagged the same way, so nothing on your plan conflicts with how you eat.
What languages do you consult in?
English and Hindi.
Who is behind the practice?
The practice is run by a nutritionist with a Master's in Food & Nutrition and over ten years of practice. Full credentials are on the About section of the home page.
Booking an appointment
How to book, what to send in advance, and how to reschedule.
How do I book my first consultation?
Use the Book a consultation button anywhere on this site. You fill in a short new-patient assessment — your details, health history and what you want to work on — and the practice confirms a time with you.
Why is there a form before the first appointment?
So the consultation starts with the full picture instead of a blank page. Collecting history, medication and past investigations up front means the time you have booked is spent on planning, not on data entry.
How long does the assessment form take?
A few minutes. It covers demographics, your goals, medical and family history, any injuries or operations, and recent investigations. You can leave anything you are unsure about blank and cover it in the consultation.
What should I have ready before the call?
Any blood work from the last six months, and a list of the medicines and supplements you currently take, with doses. If you don't have recent reports, that's fine — we'll discuss what is worth testing.
How long is a consultation?
The first consultation is the longest, because it covers the whole history. Follow-up reviews are shorter and focus on what has changed since the last one. Exact durations are confirmed when your appointment is booked.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes. Get in touch as early as you can and the appointment will be moved. Specific notice periods, if any apply to your programme, are confirmed at booking.
Do you take appointments outside working hours?
Consultation hours are confirmed when you book. Clients in other time zones are accommodated where possible — say so in the assessment form and it will be taken into account.
Online consultations
Consultations run online, worldwide. Here's how that works in practice.
Do I need to come in person?
No. Consultations run online by video or phone. The assessment form, your plan, your reports and your follow-ups all live in the app, so distance is not a constraint.
I live outside India — can I still be a client?
Yes. Consultations are online and clients are seen worldwide. Plans are built around the ingredients available where you live, so tell us in the assessment what you can and cannot get locally.
What do I need on my end?
A phone or computer with a working internet connection, and somewhere you can talk uninterrupted. Nothing to install for the consultation itself.
Is an online consultation as thorough as an in-person one?
For nutrition planning, the inputs are the same — history, reports, routine, food preferences and measurements you can take at home. What an online consultation cannot do is a physical examination, which is your doctor's role in any case.
How do I share my blood reports?
Upload them in the app, or send them ahead of your appointment. Uploaded reports are read into your record marker by marker, so your results sit alongside your history rather than in a folder of PDFs.
Your diet plan
How plans are built, what's in them, and how they change over time.
What does the plan actually look like?
A meal for each slot of each day — early morning through bedtime — with portions in household measures like katoris and pieces rather than only grams. Each meal carries its calories and macros, calculated from the ingredients rather than estimated.
Will I be told to eat food I don't like?
No. Preferences, allergies and the food you actually keep at home are part of the assessment, and the plan is built from there. If something on the plan isn't working, that's exactly what a follow-up is for.
Do I have to give up rice, roti or sugar entirely?
The approach is built around Indian household food and sustainable portions rather than eliminating staples. What changes for you specifically is decided in your consultation, against your reports and your goals.
Do I have to weigh my food?
No. Portions are given in household measures you already use. Weights are available for anyone who prefers them.
How often does the plan change?
At every review, and whenever something material changes — new reports, a new prescription, a change in your routine. When a plan is updated you get a notification, and the previous version is kept, so nothing is lost.
Do you also plan workouts?
Workout plans are available alongside the diet plan where they suit the programme, with exercises laid out per day. They complement, and do not replace, guidance from a physiotherapist or trainer where you are under one.
What if I travel or eat out?
Say so in the consultation. Eating out, shift work and travel are planning inputs, not failures — a plan that only works at home isn't a plan you can keep.
The nutrition app
Every client gets the practice's own app. It's where the plan, the progress and the reports stay between consultations.
Do I have to download something from the App Store?
No. The app opens in your browser on any phone, tablet or computer, so there's nothing to download and no account to create beyond the access code your nutritionist gives you.
What can I do in the app?
See today's meals slot by slot, check each one off as you eat it, log your weight and measurements, view your blood reports as charts, keep progress photos, follow your supplement schedule, and see your payments. Your nutritionist sees the same record from their side.
Why does checking off a meal ask for a photo?
The photo is taken live through the camera, so your nutritionist sees the real plate rather than a tick. It makes follow-ups concrete — portions and additions show up in a way that a checkbox cannot. Skipping a meal needs no photo.
Can I use it on a computer?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. It's built phone-first because that's where most clients use it.
What happens to my blood reports in the app?
Each marker is read out of the report and charted over time, banded against its normal range, so you can see the direction of travel across reports rather than comparing PDFs by hand.
Are my progress photos private?
Yes. Every photo you upload is marked coach-only by default. You choose, per photo, whether you're happy for it to be shared — and that choice is yours to make and change, not your nutritionist's.
Does it work if I'm offline?
You need a connection to load new data and to save a check-off.
Is there an extra charge for the app?
No. It's included for every client of the practice for the duration of your programme.
PCOS nutrition
One of the most common reasons clients come to this practice.
Do you work with clients who have PCOS?
Yes — it's one of the practice's most common programmes. Planning starts from your diagnosis, your reports and any medication you have been prescribed, and is built around the food you already eat.
What do you need from me for a PCOS consultation?
Your diagnosis and who made it, any recent hormone and metabolic panels, your prescriptions, and a picture of your cycle history and routine. If tests are older than six months, we'll discuss what's worth repeating with your doctor.
Will nutrition alone manage my PCOS?
Nutrition is one part of managing PCOS and it works alongside your gynaecologist's or endocrinologist's treatment — it does not replace it. What nutrition planning can address is what you eat, when, and in what portions, in a way that fits your treatment.
I've been told to 'just lose weight'. Is that the plan?
Not on its own. Weight may or may not be a goal for you, and it's agreed with you rather than assumed. The plan is written around what your reports and your clinician's guidance indicate, and around a way of eating you can sustain.
Weight loss & weight gain
Both directions are planned the same way: sustainably, from real food.
How much weight will I lose, and how fast?
No responsible nutritionist can promise a number or a date, and this practice won't. What is offered is a plan built to your assessment, measured at every review, and adjusted from what your own logs and reports show.
Do you use meal replacements, detoxes or crash diets?
No. The approach is ordinary Indian household food in planned portions. Crash diets and detox protocols are not used, because the weight they move rarely stays moved and they are hard to sustain.
I want to gain weight, not lose it. Do you do that?
Yes. Weight gain is planned as carefully as weight loss — a calorie surplus built from real meals and timed around your routine and training, rather than a shake and a hope.
What if I stop losing weight partway through?
That's expected, and it's what the follow-up structure exists for. Plateaus are read against your logs, measurements and any new reports, and the plan is adjusted rather than restarted.
Do you track anything other than weight?
Yes — waist measurement, body-fat percentage where you can measure it, adherence to the plan, and your blood markers. Weight on a single morning is the noisiest number available, so it's never read on its own.
Follow-ups & ongoing support
What happens between consultations — the part that decides results.
How often are follow-ups?
Review frequency depends on your programme and is agreed at the start. The pattern is a regular review where measurements, adherence and any new reports come back into the record and the plan is adjusted to match.
What if I have a question between reviews?
Reach the practice on the contact channels shared with you when you start. Anything that changes the plan — a new prescription, a new report, a reaction to a food — is worth raising rather than waiting for the next review.
What if I fall off the plan for a couple of weeks?
Come back and say so. Adherence is data, not a moral failing, and a plan that someone abandons for two weeks usually needs changing rather than repeating.
What happens when my programme ends?
You keep the plan and what you have learned about your own eating. Whether to continue with reviews is your decision, and it will be discussed rather than auto-renewed.
Supplements
Will I be sold supplements?
No. This practice does not sell supplements and has no commercial arrangement with any supplement brand. Nothing in your plan exists to move a product.
Do you recommend supplements at all?
Where your reports and your doctor's guidance indicate one, a supplement protocol is recorded in the app with clear start and review dates, so what you are taking and since when is never a guess. Prescribing decisions remain with your doctor.
I'm already taking supplements. Should I mention them?
Yes — list all of them, with doses, in your assessment. They matter for planning, and for reading your reports correctly.
Fees & payments
What does a consultation cost?
Fees depend on the programme and its duration. Current fees are confirmed before you book — ask through the booking form or on WhatsApp and you'll get the figure in writing before you commit to anything.
How do I pay?
Programme fees are paid by UPI. You'll see the payment details in the app, and once you've paid you upload the confirmation there — your payment status and balance stay visible in your own record rather than in a chat thread.
Can I pay in instalments?
Programme fees can be recorded as part-payments against the total, so a balance can be settled over the programme. What's available for your programme is agreed before you start.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund terms are set out in the Terms page and confirmed before you pay. If something isn't working, raise it early — the usual answer is a change to the plan.
Are there charges beyond the programme fee?
The app is included. Blood tests, medication and anything prescribed by your doctor are paid to those providers directly and are not part of the practice's fee.
Your data & privacy
Your file holds medical information. Here is how it is handled.
What happens to my medical information?
Your records are held in this practice's own system, on its own server, and are visible only to your nutritionist. They are not sold, and they are not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Who can see my reports and photos?
Your nutritionist. Progress photos are coach-only unless you mark one as shareable yourself. Each client's record is isolated from every other client's.
Can I get a copy of my data, or have it deleted?
Yes. You can request a copy of your record or ask for it to be erased, subject to any retention period the practice is required to observe. The Privacy page names who to contact.
Questions about a specific condition or goal are answered on that programme’s own page — see all programmes.
